The Sony PlayStation 5, arguably in the latter stages of its product life cycle, has had its price bumped up to PHP 40K. When it launched during the pandemic, stock shortages saw people paying money in the PHP 40Ks for the console and bundled games. Before this jump, it was at PHP 30,790 - so a near PHP 10K leap.This comes at a time when many are also looking to get Sony PlayStation 5 consoles due to the imminent release of much-awaited titles, such as Grand Theft Auto VI. However, unlike the previous PlayStation 3 that lasted for 7 years (2006-2013) before the 4 came out, it seems like Sony isn't planning to release the PS6 by next year. Samsung Galaxy A series (newest model): Launched late March, under PHP 40K. Other phones include Xiaomi, realme, and vivo models – all under PHP 40K.
