Sony has announced the Xperia devices getting the Android 9 Pie update. In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today. Aside from the iPhone 3G, the Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 is probably one of the most highly anticipated smartphone for the year 2008. Aside from the usual Windows Mobile navigation and interface, Sony Ericsson added an XPeria Panel UI to easily launch applications or features from the front screen. Got first dibs on the new Sony-Ericsson Xperia X1 and I took tons of shots to share. Got to talk to the General Manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile this afternoon and asked some more questions about the launch of the Xperia X1. Some of you might have noticed by now from the banner ad of Sony Ericsson on this blog -- the Xperia X1 is coming this November. Sony has released its Xperia 10 III Lite smartphone in Japan, sporting a 6.0-inch OLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset, a triple camera configuration, and a 4,500mAh battery.
