After seeing it first in Barcelona, the Sony Xperia Z2 is finally available for purchase in the Philippines. Sony’s Xperia 1 VIII has surfaced in an eSIM database, hinting that the next-generation flagship is already in testing. Despite Sony’s quieter smartphone strategy in recent years, the Xperia 1 VIII seems ready to continue the brand’s legacy of creator-focused, camera-first Android flagships. While details on design and cameras remain scarce, Sony is expected to debut the Xperia 1 VIII in mid-2026, roughly following the Xperia 1 VII’s June release schedule.
