Sony has just announced its all-new full-frame, interchangeable lens camera aimed at content creators called the Sony ZV-E1. Sony says that the BIONZ XR image processing engine found in the Sony ZV-E1 is eight times more powerful than previous Sony processors. The ZV-E1 will also have Sony's Cinematic Vlog Settings, which Sony says will allow creators to shoot "cinematic" footage, depending on the user's chosen look, mood, or AF transition speed. In addition, the ZV-E1 will have what Sony calls "S-Cinetone," an in-camera feature that aims to create a cinematic look straight out of the camera without post-processing. The ZV-E1 will work with Sony's newly announced Creator's Cloud platform and app, which will allow you to control the camera from your phone, as well as transfer stills and video footage as well. The Sony ZV-E1 will be available in May 2023 for a starting price of USD 2,199 or around Php 119,595 (direct conversion). Sony has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VIII on May 13 at 11:00 AM JST. Sony is also expected to announce the A7R VI full-frame mirrorless camera and a new 100-400mm f/4.5 GM lens during the launch.
