(STAR, Inc.), the parent company of Starmobile, has just announced the start of its mobile phone production ventures in the Philippines. According to STAR, Inc., it has started its assembly 20,000 units of the Starmobile Uno B208 feature phone in a facility located in Calamba, Laguna. This makes Starmobile the first Filipino brand to assemble phone locally. The Starmobile Uno B208 is a dual-SIM feature phone with an FM radio, basic camera with flash, expandable memory, flashlight, multimedia playback, and a battery life that's said to last up to two days.
