Starmobile has just announced its latest flagship slate that features an 8.9-inch WUXGA screen and powered by an Intel Atom chipset, the Engage 9i. In addition, Starmobile has also released a complete spec sheet of their octa-core Diamond X1 smartphone confirming a battery capacity of 2,300mAh. The Diamond X1 is now available for Php13,990 in Starmobile Kiosks and Stores in Metro Manila (nationwide by February 4). The first octa-core smartphone by a local brand, Starmobile, is now out in stores with a suggested retail price of Php13,990 as shown on their poster published in selected newspapers today. The Starmobile Diamond X1 comes in either black or white colors. This time they’ve given the crowd something more to look forward to by providing more information about their upcoming flagship handset dubbed as the Diamond X1. If you’re just tuning in, Starmobile gave a sneak-peek at the Diamond X1’s feature set which consists of a 6-inch IPS display and a Mediatek Octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Starmobile didn’t specify the Diamond X1’s power source, but if the Aqua i17’s is to be believed, then Diamond X1’s 2300mAh power source may just very well be its Achilles’ heel.
