Steam has launched its new mobile app, Steam Chat, which lets users chat with other people on-the-go. Steam's original application can already send messages, however, the Steam Chat has a modernized user interface which features the following: Friends List Rich Chat - Higher fidelity links, tweets, videos, GIFs, Giphy, Steam emoticons, etc... Customizable Notifications Group Chats  The original Steam mobile app is said to focus more on security in its upcoming updates with a One-Touch verification and QR code. The new Steam Chat, on the other hand, will have a voice chat in the future. Looks like Steam doesn't what your friend list clunky and cluttered as they release new features to their chatting system. The entire chat system received a UI overhaul. Basically Steam added in more organization options such as grouping your friends by game and even by party.
