Steam Chat mobile app now available for download

Steam has launched its new mobile app, Steam Chat, which lets users chat with other people on-the-go.

Steam’s original application can already send messages, however, the Steam Chat has a modernized user interface which features the following:

• Friends List
• Rich Chat – Higher fidelity links, tweets, videos, GIFs, Giphy, Steam emoticons, etc…
• Invite Links – Users can generate invite links for people and send them via text or email.
• Customizable Notifications
• Group Chats 

The original Steam mobile app is said to focus more on security in its upcoming updates with a One-Touch verification and QR code. The new Steam Chat, on the other hand, will have a voice chat in the future.
