Steam has launched its new mobile app, Steam Chat, which lets users chat with other people on-the-go. Steam's original application can already send messages, however, the Steam Chat has a modernized user interface which features the following: Friends List Rich Chat - Higher fidelity links, tweets, videos, GIFs, Giphy, Steam emoticons, etc... Customizable Notifications Group Chats  The original Steam mobile app is said to focus more on security in its upcoming updates with a One-Touch verification and QR code. The new Steam Chat, on the other hand, will have a voice chat in the future. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has launched the PANaHON mobile app, a smartphone-friendly platform designed to provide real-time weather information and improve public preparedness for weather-related hazards. Introduced in the middle of Typhoon and Flood Awareness Week 2026, this app was, like pretty much, fully developed by PAGASA and it works as the mobile counterpart of its PANaHON web platform that was launched last year. Telegram has launched a dedicated app for Wear OS smartwatches, bringing full chat access, voice messages, and chat management tools directly to users' wrists. Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is set to introduce international money transfers through its mobile banking app, following a partnership with Visa aimed at making cross-border transactions faster and more affordable for Filipinos.
