At CES 2019, ASUS announced the latest iterations for the ROG Strix Scar II and Hero II gaming laptops. The new variants of Strix SCAR II (GL504GW) and Hero II (GL504GV) come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. The Strix SCAR II has two display options, the 15.6" variant (GL504GW) and the 17" configuration (GL704GW). Alternatively, you could also buy what is arguably one of the most powerful gaming laptops on the market today – the 2025 ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18. To give you an idea, the Strix Scar 18 packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, an RTX 5090 GPU, and 64GB of RAM.
