Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, has introduced its new sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. The sub-brand will focus on making better design more accessible to consumers. Additionally, the sub-brand is run by a separate team within Nothing. IFA is set to happen this first week of September and in line with that, Huawei just sent out teasers of what could be an introduction to a new sub-brand just like the Honor line of smartphones. Nothing much was disclosed but a report from PhoneArena stated that during an interview with Kevin Ho, President of Handset Product Line, he mentioned that a new sub-brand will be introduced by Huawei at IFA. Realme is officially returning under Oppo as a sub-brand. realme CEO Sky Li will lead the now sub-brand business. Originally launched as an Oppo sub-brand in 2018, Realme later became independent and with presence in India, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
