Uber has brought a new service to Manila that'll cater to those who needs a spacious car to fit in more people or needs an extra space. Starting May 12th 2017, UberXL will be available to Uber riders in Manila. For UberXL, AUVs (Asian Utility Vehicle) are available including Toyota Innova, Mitsubishi Adventure, Isuzu Crosswinds, and Suzuki Ertiga. Since you'll be booking a bigger type of vehicle, the fare is about 50% more than UberX. The option to choose UberXL will be available soon within the app with a complete rollout done by May 20th. Starting June 15, you can be one of the first to try uberPOOL — a ride sharing feature that Uber launched in other countries that has been proven to cut down on the number of cars on the road.
