Samyang has officially unveiled its AF 12mm f/2 RF-S Ultra-Wide Angle Prime Lens, marking its entry into Canon’s RF-S mount ecosystem. This lens is designed for landscape, architecture, and night photography, offering a fast aperture and a wide 96.8-degree field of view. Photographers using Canon APS-C cameras like the EOS R50 and R10 can enjoy its lightweight build and ultra-wide perspective for creative compositions. Bumped into Art Samaniego of Manila Bulletin during the Nokia N82 Adventure II launch this afternoon and he casually mentioned that there's a new Canon Lens Sale promo going on at Digital Zone. True enough, the prices from previous lens sale was pulled down a bit more, plus a couple new models. The second camera is a telephoto lens designed for zoom shots, while the main camera is expected to use the same 1-inch sensor found in the regular Osmo Pocket 4. The patent describes a compact camera with an integrated three-axis gimbal, a fixed lens, and a built-in screen housed within a handheld grip. Earlier filings included more ambitious designs such as interchangeable-lens systems, while the latest focuses on a more compact, fixed-lens approach, closer to existing products like DJI’s Osmo Pocket series.
