Got several reports coming in from Samsung Galaxy S i9000 users in the Philippines that they've gotten the Android 2.2 Froyo update already. So I took the Galaxy S out of storage and tried out the update using Samsung Kies. A few more minutes of back-up and downloading the updates, the Galaxy S is now running on Android Froyo 2.2.
