It looks like Huawei is not getting any break this year as reports (Reuters, etc.) are coming in that the United States is working on a complete or total ban on sales to the Chinese company. This time around, it would seem that domestic companies such as Qualcomm, Intel and AMD, among others, may also be banned from selling parts/components to Huawei. (Read more: Canada bans ZTE, Huawei 5G equipment) Now, with 4G also being considered on the plate, this could completely wipe out any possibility of Huawei getting any Qualcomm chips. If this happens, that could end any future plans for Huawei to continue doing business in the smartphone, tablet and laptop market.
