CapCut has launched a new app called CapCut Pad for Android tablets, bringing more advanced video editing tools and a larger editing workspace designed for bigger screens. Available now through the Google Play Store, CapCut Pad aims to offer what the company calls “desktop-level” video editing on Android tablets. Compared to the standard mobile version, CapCut Pad adds more precise editing features, including multi-track timeline editing, keyframe animation, chroma key, smooth slow motion, video stabilization, and other tools for editing videos and photos. Apple has acquired MotionVFX, a company that creates plug-ins and templates for Final Cut Pro, to improve its video editing tools and attract more creators. MotionVFX, based in Warsaw and founded in 2009, offers video effects, graphics, and editing tools used by professional editors.
