The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is urging Congress to study the impact of violent video games on Filipino youth following the recent school shooting in Tacloban City. Based on what the DILG said, a longer exposure to graphic violent content could nudge young people’s behavior and gradually make them less sensitive to violence, like kinda numb them.
