In a new update, WhatsApp now has support for 32 participants in a group voice call. Previously, the maximum number of users in a call for WhatsApp was 8. Apart from the group calls update, WhatsApp will also be updating designs for voice message bubbles and info screens for contacts and groups. WhatsApp Communities will also be launched soon. They have yet to announce the availability of group calls on WhatsApp’s desktop client. Facebook-owned cross-platform instant messaging client, WhatsApp, has announced WhatsApp Web - the desktop version of the messaging app. WhatsApp Web is available for PC's and notebooks running Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9+. The desktop app syncs with WhatsApp installed on your mobile device and includes features such as native desktop notifications and better keyboard shortcuts.
