Was fixing the built-in wifi device of the MSI Wind for several hours now to no avail. The problem is that the wifi just wouldn't detect any wireless connections even if you're already beside the router. I've already searched for related problems and read on forums that there's a sizable number of MSI Wind owners are having the similar problmes with the wifi. The system seems to be registering the right hardware but the wifi just could not detect any signal (AP). I'm thinking of several work-around -- like looking for older versions of the driver, running a 3rd party wifi manager, among others. Any other MSI Wind owners here that can share some info regarding the wifi? Or point me to a downloadable wifi drivers I can use for Windows. For the meantime, I'm hooking up my spare Linksys USB WiFi dongle into the Wind (I knew that dongle will be very useful one day).
