The carpooling service Wunder has just announced that it is ceasing its operations in Manila. Through an announcement sent to users and the company's official channels, Wunder has cited focusing on other mobility niches as its reason for stopping operations. The Wunder mobile app will continue working until June 28. Users are advised to withdraw all their cashable balance in their Wunder Wallet until June 28 as well. The carpooling platform and the company's support channel will be available until July 12. The Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has ordered two Transport Network Companies (TNC), Wunder Carpool and Angkas, to cease operations. In a press release published on January 27, 2017, the LTFRB has ordered Wunder Carpool and Angkas to cease their operations as they have not coordinated with the agency. Wunder Carpool is an urban carpooling platform founded in 2013 in Germany.
