YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has shared its priorities for 2026. YouTube Shorts averages 200 billion daily views and the company plans to integrate image posts into the feed. YouTube TV will also expand while offering customizable multiview options and over 10 specialized plans. For kids and teens, YouTube is enhancing parental controls. YouTube also plans to expand its creator economy with tools for fan funding, brand partnerships, shopping and AI-powered content creation. AI is said to be central to YouTube this year as it will enable creators to make Shorts, music and games from text prompts while maintaining content quality and transparency. YouTube has announced the addition of Lazada to their Shopping affiliate program in the Philippines. In addition, there’s also new features for YouTube Shopping based on creator feedback.
