At the Made on YouTube 2025 event, YouTube announced ways to help creators with content production and engagement. This includes the introduction of new AI-powered tools and monetization options.

For Shorts, YouTube is rolling out Google DeepMind’s Veo 3 Fast generative tool. This can be used to add backgrounds, props, motion, and restyles to clips.
Other features include AI editing that converts raw footage into draft videos. There’s also a speech-to-song function that transforms dialogue into a soundtrack.
YouTube also unveiled Ask Studio, a conversational AI assistant for creators. It helps with workflow optimization, A/B testing, auto-dubbing, and content suggestions.
For live streaming and podcasts, new tools are being added to improve engagement and reach. Podcasters will benefit from AI that can automatically cut Shorts or generate customizable videos from audio files.
On the monetization side, YouTube is introducing more ways for creators to collaborate with businesses. Shorts will soon support direct links to brand sites, while YouTube Shopping will expand to more markets.
AI-powered product tagging will also make integration easier. YouTube confirmed that the new features will begin rolling out globally by late 2025 and early 2026.
