A lot of you might not have heard of the Las Vegas-based company called Z Camera. However, judging by the success of the Kickstarter campaign for the pocket-sized camera dubbed as E1, there’s a good chance that you’ll be hearing more from this up and coming company in the coming months. The Z Camera E1 offers the portability of a GoPro camera and the image quality of a mirrorless camera in a small magnesium cast body. And because the company got a thumbs up from Olympus to legitimately use the micro four-thirds standard, users can attach their existing M4/3 lenses on this tiny camera. The Z Camera E1 also has wireless chips for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (version 4) connections. Apart from wirelessly transferring your photo to your smart device, the wireless connection also allows user to remotely control the camera using an accompanying app for Android and iOS device. As of the time of writing, Z1 Camera has already received more than $144,000 worth of pledges for the E1, exceeding their modest $42,000 Kickstarter campaign goal. The former option will only give you a camera body, while the pricier one will get you a Z Camera E1 with a free Panasonic Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH lens.
