Chinese tech conglomerate ZTE announced their newest smartphone dubbed the Axon 7, touted to be an affordable alternative that could give other flagship devices a run for their money by offering a top-of-the-line Snapdragon chip coupled with up to 6GB RAM. Adding to that, the Axon 7 features an omnidirectional microphone, hi-fi Audio chips, and dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos sound at a more affordable price. ZTE has officially launched the Axon 50 Standard Edition in China, positioning it as a balanced addition to its Axon 50 lineup. The Axon 50 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The phone runs on MyOS 12, ZTE’s custom Android skin, which includes support for customizable widgets, dynamic lock screens that change based on user activity, and themed visuals. ZTE equips the Axon 50 with a triple-camera setup. In terms of power, the Axon 50 features a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. ZTE claims this setup offers all-day performance without battery anxiety, especially for users on the move.
