Globe to add more MB allocation, unli all-net texts to GoSURF50

Globe Telecom has just announced that it will increase the data allocation and add an unlimited all-network SMS feature to its 3-day GoSURF50 promo starting Saturday, July 2.

In a note posted on the telco giant’s official page, the fifty-peso internet promo will now be at a 700MB allocation, double than the normal 350MB allocation on the regular 3-day offer. The new GoSURF50 variant will also give you a 300MB access to one of these online services: Facebook, Viber, Snapchat, Spotify Basic, video streaming sites YouTube and Dailymotion, or Freecell games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

That, according to Globe, gives you 1GB of allocated data for all-access and specific service connection needs. This is also not to be confused with another GoSURF50 promo with a longer 7-day validity.

The note also highly emphasizes that Globe Prepaid users can subscribe to the offer by keying in the word GS50 to 8888 or subscribe using the *143# menu starting July 2. You can check out more of the new promo details here.

  1. Good day Carl. Just want to ask what if you have used up the 1gb allocation before it expires. If you register again would you have a new 1gb allocation or would you wait for it to expire? Thanks to answer!

Why the hell would they limit the remaining 300 MB allocation for FB, YT, Spotify, etc? Why can’t they just add it to the existing allocation? Why can’t they just let the users freely use and consume 1GB? To hell with Globe and Smart. To hell with the existing duopoly in the PH.
