umobile Wireless Broadband Package

While searching for the same umobile connection problems online, I bumped into this interesting discovery — the uMobile Wireless Broadband Package. Wow, I didn’t know umobile was already offering something similar to SmartBro Plugit!

For only around Php1,050 a month (plus initial deposit of Php675), you get unlimited HSDPA/3G connection from umobile. They even got the same 3G dongle from ZTE.

Oh, wait. I forgot to mention this is for umobile Malaysia.

But still, they’ve got an intriguing offer — unlimited mobile 3G for cheap! {via}

  1. wow. you got us again. i actually thought it’s offered in the philippines.

  2. Hehe, but they’re not related, at least according to the official FAQ from umobile Philippines – they’re the first and only in Asia.

    Unless I misunderstood it?

  3. what’s remarkable with Umobile of Malaysia is that its wireless broadband network has HSDPA support unlike Smart Bro.

  4. Wonder when would CURE offer a similar service here in the Philippines?

  5. you got us here! :D
i hope they would offer something like that :D

  6. Smart Bro Plug-It Plan 999 is also unlimited right?

  7. i’ll definitely get one pag available na cya dito sa atin……wish ko lang…..

  8. san ba maginquire bout dito? nagsearch ako sa internet parang wala eh

  9. Globelines broadband said that they will serve that satsified the costumers, they will serve the best. They said globlines opens a faster and bigger world for US? But we keep on paying the bills in the Internet connections that serve very poor services. We always call the costumer service about our connections but we always hear the promising conversations. Now my dad deciding to cut off the internet connection to transfer to another company which is really have a good services and many of my friends doing the same decissions. I hope you will do such move before loosing millions of costumers.

  10. Hi!

I agree with you Yenz! I was a subscriber of Globelines/Innove for the past year and from the start, I had already problems with them both in connection and customer service. Last May was my turning point, when for almost a month I didn’t have connection! They have been reversing the charges, however the inconvenience they’ve caused me is beyond the reversal. I am now looking for another provider. I’ve checked with MyDsl (they have the rate that suits my budget P1295 – 512kbps with landline)but they haven’t responded to my queries re my application despite their incessant promises to notify me. I’m beginning to doubt if they’re reliable…so guys what can you recommend? We live in a condo in Eastwood city. Is wireless broadband advisable? Sun seems to have a good offer-P799/month up to 2mbps! (perfect for my torrents!). I’ve heard Globe Tattoo sucks just like Innove….Smart Bro, heard of marginal reviews…please let me know! Oh, Bayantel and Sky Broadband are not serviceable in our condo yet, too bad…Bayantel looks promising…Thank you!

  11. almost 2 months ,no internet connection.
we don’t use our telephone to contact your hotline
and now our billings is continous, even your internet service is not consistent.
I don’t want to pay my bill ,services is not good .
If you want to continue to patronized your globelines service change my wireless internet connection to landline,or else you may cut my connection. In other hand I willing you to call me on this tel#9723488 OR my cel#090590*****.
cause your hotline number, when it comes to press to operator, nobody assist us.
your music is only I heard. thanks for your immediate action and response.

  12. Hey, is this service available in Malaysia?

  13. cure/umobile is now red mobile, and the umobile (violet sim) until now never reached me. efforts to find it in 2go main office proved futile. sim lost. :(
