LG will be showcasing its lineup of new OLED and SUPER UHD TVs, as well as its whopping 88-inch 8K OLED display, that come with ThinQ artificial intelligence (AI) and an advanced image processor at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2018.
For starters, ThinQ TVs will feature today’s advanced voice assistant technology (Google Assistant) and will let users speak directly into the remote control. It will also work as smart home hubs, allowing users to have access to other smart home products such as robotic vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, air purifiers, smart lights, smart speakers and many other devices that can connect to the TV via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
LG will also introduce its newest ? (Alpha) 9 processor to its OLED TVs which will bring incredibly rich colors, sharpness and depth for more realism. It has also gone through four-step process of noise reduction, which boasts twice as many steps compared to conventional techniques.
Apart from that, LG Nano Cell SUPER UHD TVs will feature Full-Array Local Dimming (FALD) backlighting to provide “deeper blacks and enhanced colors, as well as nuanced shadow details for life-like images”.
2018 LG OLED and SUPER UHD TVs will also employ 4K Cinema HDR.
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an annual convention showcasing different kinds of consumer technologies. CES 2018 will be held at Las Vegas Convention Center.
