LG wants to replace your dual monitor setup with this…

We’ve seen some crazy stuff being unveiled at the recently concluded IFA 2012, one of which is LG’s behemoth 29-inch EA93, complete with all the good stuff that you’re looking for in a monitor and more.

This IPS monitor boasts a WQHD (2560 x 1080) resolution with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Note that it’s the same aspect ratio found in most of theaters, which makes the widescreen monitor an ideal companion in watching movies.

The widescreen monitor features an array of ports at the back such as DisplayPort, USB 3.0, HDMI and DVI.

Besides watching your favorite films, there are other more productive things you can do with the LG EA93‘s 29-inch screen thanks to its split-screen support. With this, users can open up to 4 full-size windows and work on each of it without having to minimize or switch from window to window.

Both the LG EA93 as well as its smaller counterpart the EA83’s release date was not discussed during the event. The latter is said to be sold for €800 (or about Php42k) while the EA93’s pricing is yet to be revealed, but we guess it’s safe to say that the LG EA93 will cost more than that.
