The 34-inch display has a 21:9 aspect ratio, 3440x1440 pixel resolution (ultra WQHD), 4ms response time and a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2, 3000:1 contrast ratio.

Probably one of our most favorite product that was introduced here in Samsung SEA Forum in Bangkok is this 34-inch curved gaming monitor.

This expansive display is the biggest in Samsung’s lineup of curved monitors (next is a 27-inch model). The 34-inch display has a 21:9 aspect ratio, 3440×1440 pixel resolution (ultra WQHD), 4ms response time and a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2, 3000:1 contrast ratio.

At the back are quite a number of ports — a USB 3.0 hub, 3 USB 2.0 supercharging ports and 2 HDMI ports. The monitor also supports PIP 2.0 or Picture-by-Picture for split screen for multi-source viewing (splits the screen by half based on two separate input channels).

The Samsung S34E790C Curved Monitor is listed on Amazon for $1,299.99 but according to local Samsung rep we talked to, they’ll try to get it for under $1,000 when it’s released in the Philippines.
