Recently, Sharp had their premiere titled “Horizon Broadened: SHARP 8K Ecosystem” held in Shanghai, wherein they officially announced their new 70-inch Aquos 8K TV.
The new TV offers, as mentioned, 8K display with a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320. It features surround sound from Yamaha Audio Engine, and DTS 2.0 technology which gives it a super bassy sound. Apart from that, it is also compatible with Dolby Vision HDR and BDA-HDR that enables the 8K TV to have brighter and more vivid colors.
Sharp plans to roll out the said TV in China and Japan, and then Taiwan later this year (February 2018). Pricing for the said TV is yet to be announced.
