Xiaomi has introduced a new 50-inch variant to its Mi TV 4A series equipped with Dolby audio. This 50-inch model is the sixth variant under the said series.

The new Mi TV 4A’s design pretty much resembles Samsung’s The Wall, but less expensive and smaller. It features a 178-degree viewing angle, 8ms dynamic response, 5000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10, and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) broadcast standard. Powering the TV is a 2GB RAM, a 64-bit Amlogic L962 chipset w( 4 x 1.5GHz Cortext-A53 cores), and a 8GB internal storage.

Connectivity-wise, the TV is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, three HDMI ports, AV in, Ethernet port, and S/PDIF audio output. Its TV remote comes with infrared and Bluetooth. It features an AI-based recommendations engine– the PatchWall–which serves as one of the key differentiators.
The TV has a speech recognition and voice control but is only limited to China and it doesn’t support the English language.
The 50-inch Mi TV 4A is priced at $345 (~Php19,016.25) and is only exclusive in China.
