Traffic trends over the past couple of days have been very favorable to blogs that have dedicated a sizable amount of their content to the latest television reality TV show of ABS CBN, the Pinoy Big Brother. Those that came into the scene earlier on and have been providing original content are the ones that get the most number of exposures.
Marc posted a great topic about the search trends and relevance over at Pinoy.Tech.Blog.
I am not a real fan of PBB, except of course for my personal preference with Say as indicated by 23,000+ pageview post about her months ago. Most of my observations about the show are relevant only to the effect it has on Google searches and blog traffic.
From the last blog profile study made by The Ca t, this is the month (or year) of Pinoy entertainment. Point in fact, 14% of the Top 100 pinoy blogs are about TV and entertainment in general. That’s basically 29% of the lion’s share if you are to consider just the focus blogs alone (minus the 51% personal). It has practically dominated the Top10 with half of them about entertainment and showbiz.
It’s all a matter of providing fresh and original content. As for my old post about Say, I have my commenters to thank for the regular updates.
Now that the new season of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition is up and coming, expect people to be more creative this time. The US edition has Macaulay Culkin, Anna Nicole Smith and Dennis Rodman while the local version talks of Rosanna Roces, Eula Valdez, Amy Perez, and Jenny Hernandez. Expect this post to be swarming with visitors looking for pictures, video, wallpaper downloads and song lyrics.

Nice to be visiting your blog again, it has been months for me. Nicely this post that i’ve been waited for so long. I need this post to total my assignment in the college, and it has same topic with your article. Many thanks, excellent share.
