Samsung Galaxy Note7 to launch with Iris Scanner, IP68 rating -- reports

Listen to article

More rumors circulate in cyberspace in anticipation of Samsung’s next Note device. Then comes this one — renowned mobile leaker Evan Blass confirms that the Korean tech conglomerate will skip 6 and will go on to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note7.

note7

As reported last month, Samsung is looking into synchronizing the product lines to eliminate any inconsistency with an image that can occur as numbers of two products’ brands are different. This could very well mean that from this year on, the Note and the flagship Galaxy S series will bear the same number in each year of release.

Also confirmed through Blass is the inclusion of an optical iris scanner in the device. It definitely is not the first time we’ve seen that feature on a smartphone, but would be exciting to see since this would be the first Samsung device to bear one, in case these reports bear truth.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 specs (preliminary, rumored)
5.7″ QHD sAMOLED display @  2560×1440 pixels, 515ppi
64GB internal storage
storage expansion via microSD
12MP DualPixel AF rear camera with Dual LED Flash
5MP front camera
IP68 water resistance rating
Colors: Black, Silver, Blue

Blass has been known to unveil devices before they are even announced, and has been a trusted source for many technology journalists. What do think will complete the Note7 spec sheet?

Hey yuga! For a tech insider info, CGH is having issues with their new system.. not being able to admit/discharge patients at a timely manner.. same with issuing the meds from pharmacy to patient

Dahil nag comment ka ng super OFF topic, sana kinumpleto mo na ang details. Hindi lahat alam kung ano ang CGH. Commonwealth General Hospital ba yan o Cagayan o Caloocan o ano. LOL

Please stop comparing the Note to a dead brand. Also, your sentence construction totally sucks.
