BPI has just published an update clarifying the issue about the recent announcement requiring all their clients to update their information with bank.
In a statement sent to use via e-mail which was also published on the Client Updates section of bpiexpressonline.com, BPI said that their recent announcements “only apply to a limited number of individuals,” with whom they have already communicated separately. The bank also apologizes for the inconvenience it has caused.

Last Friday and over the weekend, BPI made two announcements requiring all our clients to update their information with us. We have subsequently received feedback from you and acknowledge that our announcements have raised concerns. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.
