So when is the y50 touch version coming out? The stores only have the y50 non touch and y70 touch.

well, we can’t really expect a perfect machine in that price range.

same Y50 model nyan sa US is $1099 lang which is 48.5k lang. more than 23k agad yung patong considering na mas makukuha nila yan ng mura dun sa $1099 to compensate the shipping fee and duties/taxes.

Tech guys use references to make analyses and estimates, hindi ‘yung kailangan subukan mo muna para alam mo. Pang noobie lang ‘yun.

Thia should have been a good choice if not for the screen refresh rate which is locked at 48 Hz. Modern games like Need For Speed: Most Wanted will surely experience terrible screen tearing on this, as they run on 60 FPS (unless you cap their game rates).

The recently announces Asus RoG G550 would certainly be a better choice than this.

PS. I hope Yugatech will also have a hands-on test and review of PC’s and/or laptops.

the 48Hz cap only applies to the 4K Model and rumors had it that it’s just a driver problem with Intel, NVidia and Lenovo working to fix it.

obviously, this article is about the 1080p version which is FREE from that 48hz cap.

I’ve been following this topic since march.

yung worst is yung Chi Mei panel sa FHD. poor color production/reproduction and worst viewing angle.
AOU or AUO Panel naman po mejo average 1080p panel.
and Samsung PLS Panel naman for the 4K screen which is currently locked @48hz.

sa trackpad din po pala: elan vs synaptics. mejo random yung parts. sa US ok lang kasi sobrang dali ng return process nila. no questions asked, papalitan or irerefund nila yung unit once hindi ka satisfied.
