TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G now official

TECNO has officially unveiled the TECNO POVA 8 Pro.

One of the main highlights is the “Alive Matrix Display” rear lighting consisting of 177 Mini LED beads. It lights up to different activities with currently up to 49+ scenarios according to TECNO.

Specs-wise, it sports a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, and the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate.

There’s also the TECNO P1 graphics chip that unlocks 144 FPS (frames per second) specifically on PUBG Mobile. However, that “Ultra Extreme” graphics option is yet to come in October 2026 in a future update of the said title.

Other notable features include a 6500mAh battery with 45W wired charging, dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main shooter, and IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

TECNO has yet to announce the pricing info and availability of the POVA 8 Pro in the Philippines.
