Acer launches Predator gaming lineup in the Philippines

Acer Philippines has launched in the country their Predator gaming lineup consisting of desktops, laptop, tablet, monitor, and a projector.

Predator G3-710 Gaming Desktop

First up is the Predator G3-710. This VR-ready desktop is powered by 6th-Gen Intel Core CPU (up to i7-6700), up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX970 GPU, up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB HDD and Windows 10. In addition it features IceTunnel to keep everything cool, 4K2K resolution support, SoundBlaster Cinema 2 and EAX 5.0 sound technology. All of that are housed in a chassis resembling an armor. Price is at Php59,999.

Predator G1 Gaming Desktop

Next is the more compact gaming desktop – the Predator G1. It features the same design as the G3 but with red accents and a 16-liter body. Inside is a 6th-Gen Intel Core CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GPU supporting up to GTX Titan X, up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, Windows 10, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5, Killer DoubleShot Pro, and Dual Headset Cradles.

Predator 15 Gaming Laptop

Acer is not to be left behind when it comes to gaming laptops with the Predator 15. It sports a 15.6-inch display that comes in Full HD or 4K resolution, 6th-Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M GPU, up to 64GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 512GB SSD, SoundPound 2.1 speakers, Predator ProZone customizable backlit keyboard, and Windows 10. Price is at Php69,999.

Predator 8 GT-810 tablet

Introduced late last year is the Acer Predator 8 GT-810 Android gaming tablet. It sports an 8-inch Full HD IPS display, Intel Atom x7-Z8700 quad-core CPU, and Intel HD Graphics Gen 8. Although featuring mean aesthetics and marketed as a gaming tablet, it only has 2GB of RAM, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Other features included a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front, PRedator Quadio four-speaker with Dolby Audio and 4,420mAh battery. The Predator 8 now has a price tag of Php12,984.

Predator X34 Monitor

If you’re interested in the Predator desktops mentioned earlier, then you might want to take a look at the PRedator X34 gaming monitor. It claims to be the world’s first 34-inch curved gaming monitor with QHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, features a ZeroFrame design which means thin bezels for seamless multi-monitor setups, 100% sRGB coverage, two 7w speakers with DTS Sound, up to 100Hz refresh rate with built-in overclocking, and LED underglow. Price is steep though at Php64,980.

Predator Z650 Projector

Now if monitors are not your thing, you can also go for the Predator Z650 short-throw projector. It can project 100-inch images and videos from as close as 1.5 meters, has Full HD resolution with 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,200 lm brightness, two 10W speakers with DTS sound, Bluetooth audio support, WirelessHD-kit, 3,000 hour lamp life, and an array of ports including HDMI and VGA. Like the monitor above, it’s also expensive at Php78,990.

Deceptive yang mga “up to…” phrases na yan. For 59,999 I highly doubt you are getting a GTX 970 and 64GB of RAM.

Predator 8? Prey 8 is more appropriate name. Di pa narelease deadz na. Kinain na ng competition.
