Building on the success of the cloud-based, household assistant Echo, Amazon is introducing two new products under the same series called Tap and Echo Dot.

Amazon Tap specs:
Dual 1.5-inch drivers
Dual passive radiators
360-degree audio
Bluetooth
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
9-hour battery life
Cradle charger
Slightly smaller than the Amazon Echo, the Tap has the same cylindrical form factor that comes equipped with 7-piece microphones and can access Alexa thru a microphone button. Keep it connected to Wi-Fi and you’ll basically have an Echo with its features.
It will be available by the end of March for $129.99.

Amazon Echo Dot specs:
Bluetooth
Dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi (MIMO)
38 x 84 x 84mm (dimensions)
250 grams
Voice-feedback audio
The smallest among the bunch, the 1.6-inch tall Echo Dot is just as smart as the original Echo but lacks the powerful speakers. The Echo Dot makes up for it by being able to be hooked to other speakers to give it more kick, while still providing smart solutions inside the house.
It is currently available in the United States for $89.99.
