GoPro recently ventured into the drone business with Karma incorporating their best-selling action cameras. Although, there’s already a setback that needs to be addressed.

The company has just announced a complete recall of all the sold Karma drones. About 2,500 units are already on the hands of users since it was released last October 23. As for the reason of the recall, GoPro says that a very small number of their drones are shutting down during usage. Good thing there are no reports of injuries and damage, yet.
If you currently own a Karma drone, you may return it to GoPro directly or wherever you purchased for a full refund. As for the replacement units, we’ll have to wait since the company will be working on the issue at hand first.
GoPro is yet to officially release the Karma drone to the Philippine market. You may read our initial impression of the drone during its local launch here.
