INSIGHT 4K Dual-LED is a lamp-free projector

Cinema projector-maker Digital Projection comes out with a new lamp-free INSIGHT 4K Dual-LED that promises faithful color reproduction and at the same time demands low maintenance from its users. It also won the Best New Product Award at the 2015 CEDIA in Dallas, Texas.

Being lamp-free, the projector relies on LED that provides brightness that appear to be brighter than when using lamps. There is a lengthy explanation of how having LED seem to be brighter than lamps and you can read it on their website, but it basically has ‘higher purity’ making it appear brighter. In addition, no lamp replacements are needed making it low maintenance and budget friendly than lamp-based projectors.
