Microsoft’s Xbox One S leaks ahead of launch

Microsoft is set to announce an update to its console lineup but just before they do, leaked images of the Xbox One S makes its appearance online.

It was previously rumored that the upcoming Xbox from the company would be toned down in terms of its form factor. Indeed, the leaked images from NeoGAF shows the new console in a refreshing look and a slimmer body compared to the current generation.

In terms of its specs, it looks like the new Xbox One S will have a 2TB version with support for 4K video just like the confirmed high-end PlayStation. Microsoft‘s Xbox is also expected to have High Dynamic Range (HDR) for better clarity and detail in images.

The new console also reportedly has a vertical stand and a sleeker-looking controller.
