RoBoHon, a robot smartphone from Sharp

Sharp has a peculiar device positioned to be a personal smartphone but shaped liked a humanoid. He is RoBoHon.


The robot phone measures 19.5cm in height and weighs 390g. It has a 2-inch QVGA display and supports LTE and Wi-Fi. If you are as curious as we are, watch the concept video below and see this tiny robot in action.


The person behind this is Tokyo professor and roboticist Tomotaka Takahashi. RoBoHon will be launched next year. Pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
