Xiaomi officially launches Mi VR Play headset, priced

Announced back in August, Xiaomi has officially launched in India its first VR headset, the Mi VR Play.

The Mi VR Play looks like the virtual reality headsets of other brands with its rectangular box design although this one has a two-way zipper for opening and closing the cover instead of the snap mechanism. It can accommodate any smartphone with 4.7- to 5.7-inch display and it readily accepts all the apps working with Google Cardboard.

The device is said to be exclusively available from Mi’s official site and some offline stores for INR999 (approx. Php750) and will start selling this December 21, 2016.
