Xiaomi Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4c With 4K HDR unveiled

Xiaomi has unveiled two new Mi Box dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Box 4 and the Mix Box 4c with 4K HDR.

The Mi Box 4 is powered by 1.5GHz Amlogic 64-bit quad-core SoC, Mali 540 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. The Mi Box 4c also comes with the same configuration except for the fact that it has 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Both smart TV boxes feature 4K HDR Ultra HD, H.265 hardware decoding, and Dolby + DTS audio output. Running both smart TV boxes is Android Marshmallow skinned with Xiaomi’s custom UI.


As for their ports, they both have AV, HDMI, and USB port. Apart from that, both smart TV boxes supports AI voice system which is called Xiaomi’s Pathwall. This will allow users to search for videos, and open apps just by speaking to the remote control.

The Mi Box 4 comes in White color while the Mi Box 4c comes in Black. The former is priced at CNY349 (~Php2,823.97) while the latter is at CNY249 (~Php2,014.81). Global availability is yet to be announced.

    4k videos on that ? Im not sure thats going to be a smooth one no disrespect at all but that spec would be a bit twitchy for some super high detailed 4k streams

      actually the current mi box handles 4k with ease. even with 4k videos with HD_DTS audio, it plays it great.
