The OPPO Find X8 has officially arrived in the Philippines, marking the first time the brand’s flagship X series makes its debut in the country. In this video, we’re taking a closer look at the base version of the series to see if it lives up to the hype—and spoiler alert, it doesn’t disappoint.

The Find X8 comes with a premium design, featuring a sleek glass and aluminum body, and is IP68-certified for water and dust resistance. Its 6.59-inch AMOLED display delivers vibrant colors, HDR10+ support, and smooth visuals with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for binge-watching and gaming.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Performance is stellar, with smooth multitasking and lag-free gaming—even on demanding titles like Genshin Impact. However, the phone does run warm during extended usage, which could be a concern for heavy users.

On the camera front, the Hasselblad-tuned triple-camera system shines, with 50MP sensors for wide, telephoto, and ultra-wide shots. It captures natural colors and balanced lighting, even in low-light scenarios. For video you will love the 4K 60fps recording with stabilization, but low-light video could use some improvement.

Battery life is decent, thanks to the 5630mAh silicon-carbon battery, and the 80W fast charging ensures minimal downtime. Additional features like NFC, 5G, and infrared remote make it a well-rounded flagship.
