Watch: Redmi Pad 2 Review

With a starting price of only Php 10,499, the Redmi Pad 2 hits a sweet spot for anyone looking for a solid tablet without spending a fortune. It’s got an 11-inch 2.5K display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, so everything from reading to watching videos looks great.

The quad speakers with Dolby Atmos are surprisingly good, making movies and music sound way better than you’d expect at this price. Plus, the huge 9000mAh battery means you can use it for up to two days without constantly reaching for the charger.

It’s lightweight and slim, with a metal body that feels more expensive than it is. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chip and up to 8GB of RAM handle everyday tasks and casual games just fine. You get plenty of storage (up to 256GB) and can add more with a microSD card.

The cameras aren’t anything special—8MP on the back, 5MP up front—but they’re good enough for video calls or snapping quick pics. Running on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 (based on Android 15), the interface is smooth and user-friendly, especially if you’re already in the Xiaomi ecosystem.
