Garmin Instinct Esports Edition now in the Philippines

Garmin has announced that its Instinct Esports Edition rugged GPS smartwatch, designed for esports athletes and enthusiasts, is now available for purchase in the Philippines.

What makes the Garmin Instinct Esports Edition smartwatch different from other smartwatches and fitness trackers in the market is that it features a dedicated esports activity function to track and analyze heart rate and stress during play, as well as offer long-term trend analysis.

Prior to a match, the gamer simply needs to select the esports activity on Instinct. Once activated, Garmin’s wrist-based heart rate technology analyzes and displays the gamer’s heart rate and stress level in addition to the time of day and a game timer. It also actively monitors stress and heart rate in real-time to help them assess their mental and physical health. Once a gaming session has ended, the gamer can sync their activity to the free Garmin Connect app to view, store and analyze their data to see how their body reacts in different gaming situations.

Gamers can also use the Garmin STR3AMUP! PC streaming tool to broadcast heart rate, stress level, and Body Battery live and embed this data into their video streams or recordings using customizable overlays. This allows gamers to share with their audience the physical and mental demands of competitive play.

Other features of the Garmin Instinct Esports Edition is the rugged MIL-STD 810 body, heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, stress tracker, body battery energy monitor, sports and activity tracking, and a battery life of up to 80 hours in esports mode, and up to 14 days in smartwatch mode.

The Garmin Instinct Esports Edition smartwatch is now available in all Garmin Brand Stores, official Garmin online stores: Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, Kinetic.com.ph and Garmin PH Viber Community, for PHP 16,995.
