TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch launches in PH
Luxury watchmaker, TAG Heuer, launches their smartwatch running Android Wear in the country and fans of the brand’s design will not be disappointed to have a touch of modern technology on their wrist.
The TAG Heuer Connected may look like your good old timepiece since its design is not far from traditional wristwatches. Since it’s a smartwatch, the watch face is a 1.5-inch full-circle LTPS LCD packing in 240ppi pixel density. The display is topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Watching making the watch tick is a 1.6Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It’s got Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n for connectivity. There’s gyroscope, tilt detection sensor, microphone, and a haptic engine onboard. A 410mAh battery is encased in its 12.8mm thick titanium 46mm case and weighs 52g.
Pricing starts at Php69,999 for the rubber strap variant while opting for leather will cost Php79,999. If you’d like to check it out, a showcase display is happening in Greenbelt 5, Makati until August 14.
