Xiaomi has just launched its newest smartwatch with the Xiaomi Watch S2.
It’s available in both 42mm and 46mm diameters with 1.32-inch and 1.43-inch AMOLED displays respectively. Both have a resolution of 466 x 466.
The frame itself is said to be made out of stainless steel and its display of sapphire glass. The watch is rated with a 5ATM water resistance rating.
Feature-wise, it has over 100 sports modes with a professional running mode and even a body composition sensor that measures one’s body fat.
Other features include monitoring for skin temperature, O2 saturation, menstrual periods, stress, sleep, and also features guided breathing exercises.
The Watch S2 also features a microphone and speaker to help answer calls on the go and can connect together with the Mijia App for even more features like Safety Tracking.
It also has Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity, GPS, and NFC support for contactless payments.
Battery life on the 42mm is rated up to 7 days while the 46mm sees support for up to 12 days.
The 42mm watch itself comes in either Black or Light Gold while the 46mm in either Black or Silver finishes.
The watch also comes with either a leather, much more vibrant silicone strap, or a color-contrasting buckle strap.
The Xiaomi Watch S2 is now available in China for a starting price of CNY 999 (~PHP 8,000) for the 42mm and CNY 1,099 (~PHP 8,800) for the 46mm.
Pricing and availability here in the Philippines have not been announced.
