Canva Manila officially announced its presence in the Philippines today in an intimate media launch here at The Fort. The 11-month old start-up was founded in Australia by a half-Filipina Melanie Perkins.
The start-up is now joined by Guy Kawasaki as their Chief Evangelist. Canva Manila started with 8 people in their Makati office but is looking to hire more than double that in the coming months.
Canva is a web-based tool/service for making really simple yet amazing graphics for web or print. It’s by invite only but they have over 650,000 users in the last 11 months of operations.
The stock images and graphics are mostly free to use but some will require a $1 one-time royalty fee. You can check out Canva here.
Bakit kailangan nila si Guy Kawasaki? Di ba eto yung kadalasang binabanggit ng mga pyramider / networker?
you might have mistaken him for Robert Kiyosaki, brother… famous author of the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”..not really sure as well though
Guy Kawasaki – Former evangelist at Apple. Not involved in get-rich-quick schemes
I am one of their first users and its just fancy using their application. People who are not born designers will look like photoshop pros when they learn how to use this.
Highly recommended.. I have 5 more invites.. :)

Amazing. The web design is so attractive! I love it at the first sight :D
